Catherine has recently joined the clinic as a Foot Health Practitioner. She deals with many aspects of foot care, from simple toe nail-trimming to treatment of corns calluses and other foot conditions.
Foot Health Practitioners deliver routine foot care wherever it is needed. They are trained to recognise and assess foot conditions, treat appropriately and refer when necessary. Many people need simple foot care to maintain mobility and quality of life. Being overweight or diabetic increases the need, and both of these conditions are rapidly increasing in prevalence in the population. FHP’s undertake intensive training, are fully insured and are required to keep their knowledge up to date with yearly Professional Development.
Catherine is a Member of the Alliance of Private Sector Practitioners (MPSPract) and also on the Volitional Register of Foot Health Practitioners.
Catherine founded Montgomery Foot Health in September 2010 and also offers a mobile service to private clients and care and nursing homes.
Catherine has always had an intense interest in the human body both on a physical and emotional level, and is a Qualified Yoga and Aerobics Teacher, Lawyer and Aromatherapist!
