Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the use of Essential Oils, in this case during a massage treatment. The Oils can enhance wellbeing, whilst also addressing problems; for example, clients come for treatments with problems like IBS, Sciatica, anxiety and stress from pressurised jobs, PMT, menopausal symptoms, headaches, feelings of not being able to cope, general aches and stiffness, to name a few. Other clients come without an ongoing problem but just to relax and get in touch with their whole selves once again.
The Oils are 100% pure Essential Oils, small natural drops of fragrant plant substance, that can support the body's healing on several levels, ie physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
After your consultation with Elgiva, she will create your own individual blend of Oils to specifically target any area of imbalance that you present to her. She will then massage the blend into your skin; she gives a firm, rhythmical and soothing treatment.
Several of Elgiva's existing ongoing clients came for their first massage in the late 1990's, and continue to benefit from regular treatments, whilst other clients come once for relaxation or for a short ongoing series of appointments to treat a specific trouble, or to be supported through a pregnancy and early babyhood.
