The following statements from patients do not represent evidence that homeopathy works, but are the personal opinion of people I have treated. I am not allowed by the Advertising Standards Authority to imply that homeopathic treatment can help any specific medical conditions. I would like to make it clear that these statements are not meant to imply that a particular homeopathic remedy can cure a specific medical condition. This is not how I believe that homeopathy works. You may however note from these unedited comments that people who have been diagnosed with a wide range of medical conditions have reported that they have experienced an apparent benefit from homeopathy.
"Over the last thirty years, homeopathy has worked wonders for our family on may occasions. Peter has achieved some spectacular successes, especially for my children. He is invariably kind, calm, thoughtful and tenacious and prescribes with much care and intelligence." Mother of two young adults.
"Peter's insight married with his thorough knowledge of homeopathy have helped me greatly on many occasions. His ability to see the underlying causes of a physical problem is highly developed. I thoroughly recommend him." Angie Spencer, Stroud.
Peter Adams is the owner of Stroud Natural Health Clinic, which he co-founded in 1985. He is a Registered Homeopath and has been practising since 1984, when he completed his three-year training at the College of Homeopathy in London. He has now treated more than 6000 people and is one of the most experienced homeopaths in the area.
He was originally totally sceptical about homeopathy, and in 1978 at a talk about it, he walked out in disgust. But in 1979 he had a smallholding, and a sick cow, and the vet could do nothing. A friend gave him some homeopathic tablets and, just to please her, he gave them to the cow. Next morning the cow was walking in the field grazing and had made a complete recovery. This event in effect changed his life. He gave homeopatic medicines to other animals and to his family and friends. Homeopathy kept working until Peter was convinced of its amazing power. So he did the professional training and dedicated himself to healing with homeopathy.
He has written several books. The latest is Homeopathy: Good Science which describes the recent science relevant to homeopathy and its most contoversial feature, the potentisation of medicines. The book shows that homeopathy is scientific after all. Earlier books are Homeopathy: Natural Medicine For The Whole Person, and The Soul Of Medicine. The latter is an anthology of literature about health and illness, and together with Homeopathy: Good Science is for sale at the clinic. Peter lives in Edge (not on the edge), and is married with two grown-up daughters, and grandchildren.
